Masturbation is a glorious part of our human capacity to enjoy sexual pleasure. Most people masturbate. Yet we live in a sex negative culture that maligns masturbation and ridicules masturbators. At Come As You Are, we want to change all that. Masturbation is healthy, it’s an elemental aspect of our sexuality. Now you can fight for masturbation, promote sexual health, raise money for a good cause, and get off at the same time!

The Masturbate-a-Thon is a one of a kind fundraiser that encourages participants to enjoy a full day of solo sex and raise funds for important sexual health organizations. We’re sure it’s the most fun you’ll ever have with philanthropy (no blistered feet or Jerry Lewis!) Plus if you are one of the top five fundraisers you can win a selection of exciting and gratifying prizes from Come As You Are.

Here’s how it works:

Between now and May 26th ask your friends, co-workers, and loved ones to sponsor you for every minute that you masturbate on National Masturbation Day.

On May 26th masturbate your heart out, don’t hold back, remember you’re not just doing it for yourself, your doing it for the higher cause.

Once you’re done, and you’ve given yourself a few days to recuperate, tell your friends how much money they helped you raise, round up your loot and drop it along with your pledge form in the mail to us or if you’re in Toronto drop it by our store!

Whether you raised $5 or $500 you will receive 10% off your next Come As You Are purchase and a free masturbate-a-thon button! The top five fundraisers will win a bevy of beautiful prizes.

All monies raised will be donated to and Maggie’s. Maggie’s is a drop-in and resource centre run by and for sex workers.

Maggie’s: The Toronto Sex Workers Action Project is an organization run for and by local sex workers. They’re mission is to assist sex workers in their efforts to live and work with safety and dignity. Maggie’s was founded on the belief that in order to improve circumstances, sex workers must control their own lives and destinies.
