From We-Vibe:

Meet the world’s first Pleasure Air™ stroker. Experience a new type of orgasm as unique pulsating airwaves stimulate sensitive Pacinian pleasure receptors in the frenulum.

Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase ...

Not particularly experienced with toys for solo play so purchased the ArcWave Ion with no real expectations. Very pleased that I made the acquisition! As stated in other reviews, quite a unique sensation with a slow, even build. First time around, I didn't spend enough time learning about the product, but as I got familiar with it, I've had consistently amazing results. I don't manipulate it too much once on, save for occasionally pressing my frenulum onto the suction, I let the vibration do the work. Basically, I can cum hands free. Very enthusiastically recommending the ArcWave!

The single best toy I've ever owned.

I have to admit -- I was hesitant to spend on a toy that had polarizing reviews.

But I gave it a shot.

Dear lord, am I glad I gave it a shot.

It's an orgasm like no other. A slow, long, escalating build that surprised the heck out of me on first use. It's not like a sleeve or a vibrator (as another reviewer said). It's an entirely different sensation.

You're going to want to try that sensation.

My favorite male toy for the past 6 months

I own a couple vibrating cockrings (Lelo Tor, We-Vibe Bond and Pivot) and the Funfactory Manta, which are all useful toys in their own right, but they're more geared towards couple play. The Manta is another premium toy that feels amazing when my wife uses it during a blowjob, but for solo play, my ArcWave Ion became king of the hill.

I saw a lot of polarizing reviews regarding this toy. Reddit is filled with discourse over it. So I was skeptical. I got it on sale at 50% off, and went it with 0 expectations. I'm on the smaller side, 5" erect with 1.25" of girth, and uncut, so was worried the Arcwave would not make a good seal with my penis or the fenulum. I had absolutely no issues.

To be clear: this is not a stroker, nor a vibrator (like the cobra). It's the male version of the Womanizer vibrator, which was a pioneer in suction stimulation. Lube up, insert your cock in the Arcwave and position it over the frenulum, then let it do its work.

It's a totally different experience than vibrating toys like the cobra, or any textured strokers like the Tenga products. It's the closest thing that feels to a blowjob orgasm I have ever experienced, besides actual blowjobs.

Because there is no direct contact and vibrating action, you don't get numb or desensitized over time. It's a slow build-up... I can reliably come with it in 15 minutes, sometimes more, but most of the negative reviews I saw were about the lack of stroking action and the inability to get the user to come. It works differently, but never fails me, and always feels amazing. It was not amazing the first 2-3 times, I had to get used to it. Now I could not live without it.

The open-end design makes cleaning it a breeze. You come outside of the toy, so there is no accumulation and unpleasant brushing around textured edges to endure after the session. The entire thing can be dismantled in two pieces that are 100% waterproof, so I just give it a little soak in mild soapy water.

It comes with a carrying case, which is also how the toy is charged, and triples as a drying rack.

I was flabbergasted to see there were 0 reviews for this toy on CAYA. I get that the price is high, but those used to spend on Lelo or Fun Factory toys are used to these price tags, and it is 100% justified.

I've ordered a Lelo Hugo so I can attempt hands-free prostage and frenulum stimulation for what I think will be some intense and fun solo times!

I highly recommend this toy.

PS. When the Arcwave makes a good seal with your frenulum, it isn't too loud, but this is not a discrete toy by any means, if privacy is a concern for you. That is the only downside I can find for this toy.

Third Time's the Charm

I’ve been burned by Arcwave before. The Ghost was pedestrian. The Voy cumbersome. So imagine my skepticism when Arcwave’s flagship product, the Ion, promised “ultimate pleasure like never before”. Although we’re a few generations away from word orgasms, the ION delivers a sensual experience unmatched by any toy on the market.

The Ion’s genius is in its simplistic. The sleek, open air design offers little guess work. Just lube, insert penis and activate. Moreover, by targeting the pacinian pleasure receptors in the frenulum, the ION delivers a user-friendly and oddly incisively experience. It’s a rare sec toy that I can recommend to cut user, uncut users, disabled users and users with ED-issues. Even cleaning’s a breeze thanks to the waterproof design and the storage case doubling as a drying rack.

The ION isn’t perfect. There’s no gauges or LED displays, so you’re relying on ‘feeling’ to distinguish the various intensity settings. It’s also loud. Embarrassingly so. Folks who enjoy porn with their masturbation should stick to the lower power settings.

Despite its flaws an the steep price point, I recommend the ION to anyone looking for a break from the fleshlights and strokers.
