Simply put, I love this toy. The Loki is girthy, so it's more for intermediate-level anal players. The controls are intuitive, and it delivers strong, relatively quiet vibrations directly to the prostate. I have found that the Loki is better suited for partner play than solo as its design makes it awkward controlling it on your own while simultaneously trying to relax and have an orgasm. (For solo play, I'd recommend Lelo's Hugo or Bruno.) In the hands of my wife, however, I will have the first of many prostate orgasms within 30 seconds of her turning it on inside me. Lelo markets the Loki as a prostate toy, but its design makes it well suited for g-spot stimulation as well, and my wife and I both use it (yes, we clean it between uses, obv,) with amazing results. While the price tag is somewhat steep, the quality and performance ultimately make it well worth every penny.

I have found that similar vibrators and dildos, designed with men in mind and hitting that prostate, were too small. So when I read some reviews from guys who found Lelo's Loki too big, I thought "Aha! Could be what I need!" Indeed, it was. With that said, I am not inexperienced with anal play, so if you are new, this vibrator may not be for you. This toy is perfectly shaped and the various settings for pulsing, vibrating, etc provide different sensations, all of them quite amazing. It's given me some really intense orgasms and has become my absolute favourite toy.

Overall the Loki Wave is well made and does what it says it will do, however, I found that it did not reach my prostate or if it did, I did not feel much of anything when using it. It also requires you to hold it in or else it will fall out very quickly. This made adjusting during usage problematic.

Considering the price tag, I would recommend trying a toy of similar size to make sure you are hitting the right spots.

This was the first prostate massager I tried, and that meant it took a huge amount of attention for solo use. Alone, I wasn't able to get off with it, because focusing on masturbation meant I wasn't able to focus on making sure the angle and movement were enjoyable, although the controls were intuitive and I had no trouble getting it to and from the settings I wanted. In the hands of a partner, however, the Loki hit its stride. With the improved possibilities around angle and positioning, angle and movement became a nonissue, and I was able to focus entirely on the sensations and intensity- and it was intense. A note on the motor and vibration: while the Loki is wonderfully thuddy and vibrates deeply on the lower and middle settings, at higher speeds the vibrating becomes more buzzy and less rumbly- think electric toothbrush instead of a starting engine. That effect wasn't enough to significantly lessen the experience, though, and the vibrations never became unpleasantly buzzy. As with most preprogrammed vibration patterns, these didn't do anything for me, but I don't fault the Loki for that.

We also tried using the Loki for external use and found the vibes extremely enjoyable for precise stimulation through most sensitive areas, although it fared less well when my vulva-wielding partner tried the Loki for external stimulation (the Loki doesn't claim to be effective as a clitoral vibe, though, so I don't fault it for that!). My partner did have success using the Loki as a g-spot vibe and was able to reach orgasm through the Loki alone, saying that the shape of the Loki and the accessibility of the controls worked very well with their movement-restricted joints and recommends it for folk with chronic fatigue or physical disability (they noticed this ease of use both for solo use and while using it with me.) A note for anyone looking to put the Loki in their vag, though- the way head tapers while curving means that it's easy to thrust too hard and get the Loki hooked behind your pubic bone If you're at all compact or petite, and the girth necessitates a lot of lube and being careful to not get carried away, but again, seeing as the Loki isn't advertised for g spotting, that can't be held against it.

All in all, we're glad we purchased the Loki, and think that with more use and practice it will become a favorite!

I don't think the Lokiwas for me. This was my second toy and I found it to be a lot more girthy than expected. I didn't feel the vibration rumbling on my prostate resulting in an orgasm. It almost felt like the area of vibration was past my prostate when it was inserted. I also feel that the angle could have been angled by an extra few degrees. The unit would also rotate a little while in use.

It's probably my issue as reviews seem to be stellar for this toy. I just wish I had the same positive experiences as others.
